For instance, if the student would like to do something, say something, or ask for something, ask them how they are going to do it. Whatever you do, just ensure you keep the focus on the pupils' activities and behaviour. Step Six: When you're finished, simply explain that you have been asking the right questions, but the pupil should not permit their activities make the choices for them. After that you can talk about how the pupil will want to make decisions based on the information that they collect and what they decide to do next. This manner, the pupil will observe that the choices aren't made by the student, but instead, made by the person that they are being asked to utilize.
